To my mind, connection is the very essence of networking which includes, but is not limited to, exchanging your resources with others. It’s easy to make connections at my club because it’s an intimate environment comprised of professional people from all walks of life. When I say networking, I mean proactively engaging others for creating mutually profitable working relationships. You’ll be delighted to see that at our club people are really networking instead of net-walking, net-sitting, etc.!
I started this club in May 2003. It was originally named National Club of Real Estate Investors (NCREI), as it’s also known today. Gradually it became clear that although my vision was global, my actions were local. So, just recently I decided to give us a new name that would more accurately reflect our purpose and presence, Los Angeles Real Estate Investors Club (LAREIC).
